Welcome!

This Workshop is set up as 6 Chapters. Each Chapter has its own Outline and associated Video Presentation.

Please follow each lesson in order and “mark each step complete” as you progress.

PowerPoint Presentation handouts are available under the “Materials” tab of each lesson.

Once you have completed the video presentation viewing and passed the course quiz – please ensure all steps below have a green complete tick visible. Your certificate should then be available to download and or print.

Chapter 6 pertains to the Ethics related to Medico-legal Report Writing. This Chapter is loaded as a separate course in your My Course Profile to enable us to submit your Ethics CPD separately according to HPCSA. Please be sure to complete this Video and Quiz separately to complete this course and redeem all your CEUs.

According to the new HPCSA requirements – we will submit your course attendance information directly to HPCSA. You no longer need to do this. We do just recommend that you keep a copy of your certificate for your own records. Your course completion certificates will be stored on your profile indefinitely to ensure you still have a record of your CPD activities should you encounter any problems.

You have 3 months to complete this course from point of purchase. Please be sure to complete all tasks and download your resources by this date at the latest!

We hope you enjoy this workshop and look forward to your feedback and reviews to help us fine tune this workshop to meet your needs best!

Very helpful

Thank you, I learned a lot. Highlighting that one should never make assumptions is also great, as one should never assume one knows what a job entails without confirming all the facts with the person who is actually doing the work (including the psychological and physical demands of the job in that specific work environment, the salary etc.). This will help ensure that we are not biased.

I enjoyed learning, it was easy to understand.

I enjoyed learning, it was easy to understand. I do however feel that the sound quality needs to be reviewed especially in Chapter 5. I had it on maximum but had some struggles hearing clearly. Also, it would be nice if the video's on OT link could please be downloadable and saved as the pdf files does not and cannot contain all of the info that the video has. Overall, great course!!
